Mawenzii RZ F1 is a high-yielding and pungent hot red pepper seed variety (habanero pepper) from Rijk Zwaan. This African Hot Pepper is an early variety (60 – 75 days) with high vigour and a good heat set.
The strong plant vigour and good harvest continuity make this variety very productive. The fruit has a blocky shape with an average fruit length of 4- 5 cm and an average fruit weight of 12 – 15 grams. The fruit is pungent with a good aroma. The immature fruit is a light green colour, while the mature fruit has a glossy red colour. The fruits have a very good shelf life after harvest.
Mawenzili RZ was selected for outdoor cultivation but can be grown successfully indoors. It is the best hot pepper seed for commercial and home vegetable growers.
