Lengai RZ F1 is a productive, red habanero pepper seed (African hot pepper) variety from Rijk Zwaan. This African hot, red habanero pepper seed hybrid variety is highly suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. The fruits are highly pungent with a good aroma and a nice red colour when mature. The fruits have a slightly blocky shape with an average length of 4.5m and weight of 13 gr. They are light green when immature. Lengai RZ F1 along with Mawenzili RZ F1 and Afadja RZ F1, are the 3 red hot pepper seed variety from Rijk Zwaan currently available for the Nigerian market.
Lengai RZ is an early maturing variety with an upright growth habit and good continuation. This makes it adapted for long cycles of cultivation.
